Today HTML5 is recommended which offers more features so we don’t need to rely on Adobe Flash Player to watch videos and interactive content but some of the websites still need Adobe Flash Player to watch their content. Before you start to Install Abobe Flash Player on Debian. You must have a non-root user account on your server with sudo privileges.

Step 1: Install Adobe Flash Player

Adobe Flash Player repository is not available in Debian core repositories so we need to add the canonical partner repository in Debian system.

To add canonical partner repository in your Debian system run following command in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

Now update the apt package manager index typing following command:

sudo apt update

Install Adobe Flash Player and Freshplayer Pepperflash plugin typing following in the terminal:

sudo apt install adobe-flashplugin browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash

Here you after completing the above process you have completed successfully installation of Adobe Flash Player.

Step 2: Enable Adobe Flash Player Plugin

You can enable Adobe Flash Player plugin by visiting their official website and then allow Flash Player plugin from there.

Restart current browser or Open new browser and visit following URL:

Move down to 5’th Step and click on Run Adobe Flash Player.

You will see another popup windows from there you should allow access to Flash Player to run.

Now you will see Flash Player plugin is installed on your system.
